Marais and rue des Lombards, where the apartment is located, is lively with charming cafes, restaurants, parks, designer shops in rue des Francs-Bourgeois and wonderful food stores all nearby. For visitors who wish to explore Paris by foot, the marvellous Marais includes the Place des Vosges, often considered as one of the prettiest squares in Paris, the Picasso Museum, the Carnavalet Museum, the Centre Pompidou and of course the Louvre. After just a 5 minutes walk is the river Seine, crossing onto the "Ile de la Cite" to visit Notre-Dame and the "Ile Saint-Louis".
All major attractions in the center of Paris are within walking distance from the apartment, including the Latin Quarter, near Notre-Dame.
